Is this because the shortform for "Link" is spelt as "Lk" in the map; which the GPS system interprets as shortform for "Lake...Got alot of way points to cover...The POI file should be placed inside \GARMIN\POI folder and not what I did previously in \GARMIN folder...

This was a good solution since we can stow away after usage...I suspect that with a cooler-than-desert climate--and/or a closer-to-horizontal dash surface than I used in my application--the adhesive disk and suction mount combo would provide many years of good service...So glad I bought this and would recommend everyone buy one...
