I think they were sucessful but I've never tried myself...From the large amount of searching I did, the only way to upgrade those things were if the manufactures actually released an update, you can't just download software from Microsoft and install it...Also, if you're interested in Linux, I know there was a lot of work put into getting Linux on the IBM Z50...

You have to keep in mind that for a total of 500 dollars a core2duo will trounce that machine in processing power...I use one of these daily, its a good box...SCSI comes in a lot of different versions, but mostly function the same, it's a good deal faster than IDE, and you can link more devices on it I think...

So I was saying something about how the compatibility list on this site isn't necessarily 100% accurate because of the wide range of devices running CE...For instance, the information on the Linksys WPC11 is not only quite confusing, but misleading...It's interesting to note that HPC Factor shows different compatibility information for the Linksys WPC11 and the DLink DCF-650W...There doesn't appear...
