I got a new HPdv6605 Pavilion laptop, but it came with Vista...This driver you recommend doesnt work at my computer, I will try newer...We just got a HP DV6605US Laptop and have rolled it back to XP Pro, and now cannot get some of the drivers to work correctly...I have tried everything suggested so far except DavidPrO’s drivers and the link to part 2 is no good so I can’t...

Ok I am here on the laptop now running live cd...One of the good things with 7.10 is it has a utility that checks if this is available on the Internet, and suggest you let it fetch and install that...I would go for VGA for the graphics card, etc...

Priced at $699 it is a good option for students or professionals who just need something mobile, and little frills (other than music and the occasional movie...It has a good set of specifications and is nice and light for portability...I would recommend this notebook for those that are interested in doing more work than anything...
