I just wanted to note that the Live DVD of Fedora 8 seems to work on the HP Pavilion dv6780se...Even the Intel 802.11N wireless worked (albeit connecting to a G router...I was able to play sound with it, surf a bit, but I wasn't able to test the sound recording or webcam with it...
