I have a large theater with our high end projector and it perfect...Sounds like it comes through as 1080i regardless...I've looked in to this display a good bit and reviews are mostly positive...

Because of John Stephens' generosity, I had the chance to spend about two hours with his 65" MD6580n today...John's upscaling Sony 400 disk changer, and satellite receiver both send 1080i signals via HDMI cable to a Denon AVR3806 which acts as a switch for the MD6580n...Another good skin tone scene is during "our perfect being's" reconstruction...The MD6580n...

Didn't know which thread to post this in, but below is a link regarding the June issue of 'Sound and Vision,' where they test the new Toshiba HD-DVD, for which they used the HP md6580n as their TV...For our tests, we took the Toshiba's 1080i signal and fed that via HDMI to a 65-inch HP MD6580n 1080p DLP set, with stunning results...

I have decided that the HDMI 1080P inputs are a "must have" and so far the new HPs are the only ones I have seen much about...I would like to hear from folks who have actually seen the new 1080p HPs in person...HDMI 1080P inputs that support native 1080P at 24, 30, and 60 FPS is a MANDATORY...
