To use the radio with your own headphones is possible but involves cutting up the supplied earphone cable and is not something I aim to discuss here, I do have the wiring schematic available should anyone want it to try modifying there own headset...I have a nice pair of Shure E2C ear-phones, and I was a bit miffed to find that I can't use them with my P3300...
