The wildly varying prices between the 247 and 347 are starting to annoy me...Why pay $500 for the 247 when you can have the 347 for the same price...I would like to hear opinions on why I should choose the 247 over a Yam 661 or a Denon 1908...I've read alot about HK's sound, but the Yam's aren't too bad either...

Plugged in my PC and set it to 1920x1080p and then sent it via HDMI to my vizio 1080p 47" lcd, MORE SPARKLES! I'm not getting the OSD signal through the composite or S-video on my 347...then I have to switch the 347 off and back on again to get a hdmi signal...I have a 347, but this would really apply to either or both...Anyone know if you can use an HDMI input and analog input simultaneously...Second, I tried sending the video to the HDMI 1 input and the audio to the 6-channel direct input...

This info came from a family friend who is a distributor for HK and has all the specs and full info now released for them...Would Dolby Pro Logic II Movie be a good choice...But, alas, I didn't need it as my low end Yamaha suits my needs now for basic movies and music...
