The device does offer good features and easy to handle but, my very old Sony camcorder (early generation camcorder) provides a better resolution than this "bluray" camcorder...I have a home Blu-ray player, and wanted a good HD camcorder...With experience most of you will learn how to take good indoor videos...

That's fine, but the only easily accessible medium remains miniDV and until that universal acceptance is mirrored in another format, I personally can't recommend any thing else...Although miniDV is now seen as very much yesterday's technology, it's so rediculously easy to edit that it's my only recommendation for anyone considering editing as a hobby...Ideas and perseverance is what makes a good film...
