I bought the Hoover H3060 FloorMate hoping it will become my "do-it-all" vacuum that will keep my floor spankin clean...But so far nothing actually fell off, so I guess that's good...The Hoover H3060 offers a dry vacuum ability, but it really doesn't work all that well...

I vacuumed the floor first, there was no grit...I think a good part of it was we were liquifying the dirt and not able to get the dirty water up with a mop even after rinsing with clear water...When I first got it together (it takes a bit of assembly out of the box but the directions are pretty clear) I didn't think there was any way those wimpy brushes would do a good job...

So I'm back to using my Swiffer Wet Jet for quick jobs and a good Vileda mop and matching bucket for the big all over jobs which is a whole lot faster...Maybe Santa will be kind to me and drop one off, so I don't have to feel bad about it collecting dust, if it doesn't work for me...I do not use the wood floor cleaner that they recommend, I use a few drops of natural soap and it works great...
