I just purchased a ZR45 and the motor noise IMHO is not a problem...It is there but unless your recording in a quiet room it is not bad...Overall I thought the Cannon is a better camera than the JVC...
Or are there different ones and I need to find out which one they are selling...The video quality is very good and if works great for connecting to a computer (something my girlfriends Sony doesn't do well...Also how would you rate the EXR functionality, does the improvement it gives at 6mp/auto with auto underwater whitebalance outweigh manual manipulation at 12mp...
