I tried it out for about one-hour at the store...It has a 10x optical zoom with the ability to adjust the shutter speed up to 1/4000 of a second...I really do not hear any street noise when I videotape...

I recently received a JVC Everio (GZ-HD5) high-def camcorder for Christmas...Im sure this has something to do with the fact that the .TOD, .MOI, and .PGI files cannot be recognized on my computer...
