Kodak gave me some info on installing software/drivers and logging on as Admin...there's a slim chance that the cable from your camera to the computer is defective since the external card reader works fine...Pop-up says camera not connected or has been disconnected...

The card reader comes up in My Computer as a removable drive...If your camera has removable media, I always recommend a USB card reader, then just insert the media and copy/paste to the hard drive...I am downloading them into Photoimpression 2000, but it keeps locking up...
