According to jcr, the Dimage Scan Dual III was listed as a supported product...Can we expect support for the Scan Dual III in the near future...We are planning on supporting the Scan Dual III with Silverfast but development will take a couple more weeks...

The Minolta Scan Dual III is obviously the successor to the Scan Dual II, which sold for the same price when it was current, $500 CAN...However, there was something about the new Scan Dual III that got me intrigued...Straight off, various reviewers have indicated that the anti-dust software for the SD-III is not as good as Digital...

Don't get me wrong, it is not as good as the Nikon NS series, but the value for money is the best you can find out there...It produces scans good enough for my purposes...Either way the DS III will do scans good to 20x16 prints...
