The key bed isn't the best, but it's not bad at all and its strength is ease of touch, excellent compliance when you play very fast runs, and/or if you like a lightweight touch...I REALLY CAN'T EXPLAIN, IN SO LITTTE TIME WHAT THIS MACHINE HAS DONE TO MY OVERALL PRODUCTION...The programs on this thing are amazing, so good that I hooked up my Roland V-Drums and Yamaha P70 Digital Piano up...

Korg x50 - Future Producers forums
What you do is connect via midi with the MPC and turn on the X50...To choose different sounds in the X50, be in Multi-Mode and press "Page+" and it should show you 8 different tracks...i kinda wanna sell the x50 and jus save up for a motif or fantom...

Korg options X50
The X50 has the synthesis engine of the Triton family, albeit with newer sample content...We also have a brand-new member of the family called the PS60, which you may want to consider...It's focused on acoustic/electric pianos, organs, strings, brass, and synth sounds, and the controls you're most likely to use during a gig (EQ, splits/layers, effects, etc) are right on the front panel...

Can this be done? Korg X50 - MusicPlayer Forums
I want to use the X50 as a MIDI controller for my MKS70 and I want to use my Roland A30 to control the internal sounds on the X50...I don't want the keys built into the X50 to produce any sounds from the X50, just to control the MKS70...However, I want to use another keyboard, a dedicated MIDI controller, to play the internal patches from the X50...I'm replacing...
