k, so i was at circuit city yesterday and was playing around with the LG 37LC2D...i have read through the LG 37LC2D manual(got it saved on my computer pdf file) and sadly it states no where that the backlight is indeed adjustable...also i tried searching for a backlight button on the remote and again the manual doesnt say anything about a backlight option on the remote nor...

Ok I've had my LG 37LC2D television for about a week...but no 37" and good lord are they ever expensive...Picture for picture in HD they all looked good - the Sharp perhaps edging out the others in terms of fidelity, the Panasonic edging them out in terms of color definition, but the LG looking great as well...

I bought this beautiful LCD, 5/11/2006 from Circuit City, for it's awesome contrast ratio, size and depth of features...Although for the price it's an exceptional value, their build/durability is questionable...I have agonized over a new tv plasma or lcd for a while and I am confident i have purchased the best one...
