Keep in mind this are brand new processors from Intel and is rated to have significant performance improvement over Penryn processor...In fact, only T400 is 25% off (+ CPP 15%), T500 is just the regular CPP 15% discount...If you want to get a 14" laptop, I think the deal is quite good...

I've installed the 8.10 x64 RC on a Lenovo T400 with Intel X4500 integrated graphics and 4GB ram...During the actual suspension / hibernation process (either from GNOME or by entering pm-suspend / pm-hibernate in a console), the screen flickers 3-10 times before the system goes to sleep...Same Problem with T400 and ubuntu 8.10 using Internal Graphic Intel 4500...It seems, that...

I didn't rely on the Lenovo autoupdate, Lenovo drivers, or ATI's recommendations...Update your drivers according to the hardware specs and ignore the "recommendations" of both Lenovo and Windows...
