These folks found it well "worth the splurge," though we'd recommend giving the full spill a read if you're seriously on the fence...The x200s could only be hotter...

I am using a x200s with Windows XP SP2 installed...My problem is when I press FN+F5 I get the option to turn the wirelss on/off however even though the hotkey menu updates my selection, the wireless remains on or off depending how it is set by the properties of the wireless driver...I just did a clean Windows XP Pro SP2 install on my x200s...

I didn't need a new laptop per se, but the weight I was carrying sometimes (my own Thinkpad T43 and the customer Thinkpad T60) caused some neck pains...The Thinkpad X200s only weighs 1.3kg (with the 9 cell battery a bit more...I'll just wait until CentOS 6 for those improved power management capabilities, since I have little time to tinker with a bleeding edge operating system...

If it had a webcam and WWAN, I would dump my X301...Actually brighter as my T60, less "yellowish" colors, viewing angles less good, but sufficient......well, because as far as I understood (also because of your comment) it seems that non-LED displays are very bad...
