I think the problem is in the area where I live, the naucticpath chart is good at major ports, but harbours like Fiscardo are not shown...Having bought the 3500C with Nauticpath chart card for 450 quid delivered - I can honestly say it's a good deal at thye price I paid...IMHO the plotter is to get you to the harbour entrance and then to use seamanship / good sense etc...

If I can save a few bucks, all the better...wave, check the link to a Cabela's special below...at $300 it is a good deal...Personally I liked the ones with external antennas but that is a pretty good price I believe...
