This Lowrance M68c S/Map unit came with the boat I bought, and I just don't see myself using it...From what I've seen, this unit sells new for $400-$420...

I have the same unit, its from 05 when I bought my boat...I tried to call Lowrance about possibly repair-good luck talking to some one there...The detail is not accurate and often shows me running on land! I know other units have the capability of plugging in a chip with detailed maps of certain areas, this one does not have that...

It may be a problem with corrosion on the leads or a bad transducer but its sensitivity is lacking...Good value there but as I said before, the fishfinder portion is a big disappointment...

HighBrass is right, the interference factor from a low end vex is really bad...Someone could be 20 yards away and i will get some pretty bad interference with my zercom...The vexs overpower my zercom pretty bad too...
