Just a few things to add to Robb's discussion...I'd have to say that overall the Lowrance PHD is the better choice...The 76S is a good unit and easier to learn to use than the Lowrance, but the Lowrance has the edge on most performance factors...
I would highly recommend purchasing the Map Create software to go along with your unit...I would recommend this product to anyone who hunts especially in new areas or areas where they have limited knowledge...If in the market, definatly a good choice...

I am about to purchase a LowranceIFINDER GO or a GO2...I noticed that there is an option to add the LowranceIFINDER GO or GO2 hand helds to my selectable GPS units on EasyGPS, but Lowrance does not list a PC computer cable to interface to the IFINDER GO or GO2 units with a PC...Is there anyone out there who is using the GO or GO2 Lowrance hand helds...
