Bestbuy has the Magellan 3200 for $169 instant rebate applies...It is a basic gps model, It doesn't have all the fancy stuff the higher end units come with...As long as the 3200 has everything you need, it looks like a pretty good deal...

I hope that goeken doesn't mind, but I used his procedure on the 3100 and made a procedure to update POI's on the 3200...The biggest change I made was leaving the maps and original POI's on the 3200 unit, and just putting the new POI's on the SD card...To me it seemed a little safer (I was scared to try it), because the only thing you modify on the GPS itself is the media.cfg...

I have owned a Magellan 3200 since last Christmas...The 3200 is small and useful, and works great for time lax users who don’t know their roads...has none of the bells and whistles that should never be on a driving assisting device in the first place...It takes at least a minute or two for it to begin receiving signals from the satellites...I just got my Magellan Maestro...

I had read a review on the 3100 and this 3200 has been improved...The 3200 has many more POIs than the 3100 - from what I read is a big improvement...Here is a nice review of the older 3100 and most everything the reviewer mentioned that could be improved - was in the 3200...Yes, look at my post above yours...
