I do not have this Maxent model but I had a MX-42X3 which has a Panasonic glass...The MX-5020 HPM has "glass made in Japan" sticker on the front and frankly, I thought it looks stunning, very comparable to my Panasonic TH-50PX50U...I would not be surprised that this Maxent MX-5020 has a Panasonic glass as well...The Vizio and Philips next to the Maxent...
