I've been using XBMC 1.1 through a Netgear GS116 switch to read ISO files from my Toshiba Tecra notebook...When I took the Netgear GS116 out and used a Linksys WRT54GC, everything works at 100MB...I've tried jumbo frames off and on...In this case it appears to be a function of combining all three: XBox, Netgear GS116, and ReadyNAS NV...

Flow control can also be a bad thing (smallnetbuilder dot com has a little article - search for gigabit "flow control") when mixed with 100mbit devices...Never had a problem with the good ole Blue built like a brick Netgear network devices...I highly recommend it for small businesses that are looking to save money but still get good performance...
