The Zoom Nikkor lens is pretty good for a camera in this price range and it has a lens focal length of 35mm or a 38mm to 133mm equivalent...I would recommend the 2 GB SDHC memory card for taking video...The Nikon suite of software included on the CD is quite good for editing or you can use a Windows based movie editing software...

For several urgent reasons, I need to buy my first [point-and-shoot] digital camera within the next 14 hours to shoot numerous photos...The Nikon is a very good looking camera, doesn't hurt that the lens says "Nikon" on it, in the beginning the Nikon S210 was right at the top of my list...Casio menus and displays are more complete than the Nikon S210...

My only niggle is the blur I get on some of the pictures which aren't clear from the screen picture...The screen is easy to see and...It looks great, very sleek, tiny but not too tiny for people with big hands like me! Very easy to use but this could be because I've only ever used Nikon cameras...
