I'm running an onkyotx-sr304 with S/PDIF input from my creative x-fi card on a vista...I'm not able to get sound when i play my dts 5.1 music disc (Brand new day) via powerdvd...Does this require any special changes to my sound card setup or receiver...
With the 150's only having a 100watt max power rating i needed a a/v reciever that had alot of goodies, a decent power rating that wouldnt fry my speakers, so all of that led me to the onky TX-SR304...Very good reciever, especially for the price...then onkyo is definatly the way to go...
This was just what I was looking for...I was surprised to find that the OnkyoTX-SR304 had just the features I was looking for, and at an unbelievable price from Amazon...Plenty of understated power, good sound fields and enhancements, very nice sound...
I want to use this with Polk R50 speakers...I'm partial to Onkyo, they do their job, work well and last a good while...OnkyoSR304 ($159 at Circuitcity) or Yamaha V361BL($ 199 at Best Buy...
