NCIX FORUMS - Good for 2.1 channel setup? - Onkyo TX-SR506 Black 7.1 Channel Stereo...
Will this be good enough for my setup...We do not recommend you make puchasing decisions based on Forum messages...A stereo amplifier isn't going to do you much good for multichannel audio...

I've had the TX-SR506 installed for almost a week and it sounds great...The 75W out is more than enough to fill the entire 1st (and 2nd) floor with sound, and the surround decoding and DSP seems really good...The receiver comes with a mic used for calibrating the receiver...

No information may be posted elsewhere without written permission...Darn...forgot to ask if these will play in 5.1 even though it's a 7.1 reciever...Doesn't appear to much different from each other...
