The new version of the SanDisk card that's compatible with both Pocket PCs and the Palm Zire 71 does work in the Tungsten E according to SanDisk...Though the folks at SanDisk say they've used the card with no harm to the Tungsten E, they can't sell it for the E just in case the slot is blown by the power requirements of the card...

My Tungsten E power switch started to fail, and after several weeks of frustration I decided this morning to remove the screws and found I couldn't open the case...Like other replies, I soldered the micro-switch back to the board (the solder had cracked), and then reinforced it with further solder and a blob of epoxy which has been very effective...

Both times I have found them to be of good sound quality and worth the money spent...On the positive side, they seem to do a good job of protecting the Palm by completely enclosing it...It is good looking and practical-can also hold 2 SD cards for convenience...
