What good are high end cables if they dont connect gold on gold...I wouldn't recommend replacing your surround receiver if it doesn't have HDMI inputs or the ability to decode these sound formats...If you don't notice a difference, most reputable dealers offer some kind of exchange/refund policy.Cons - few - picture isn't THAT much better than my H/K DVD-48 ( upconverts, but not Blu Ray...

Well, since it seems there hasn't yet been a BD80 review, and the BD60 "review thread" isn't a review at all, I thought I'd start one...I bought the BD80 because my Elite AVR is just old enough to not have HDMI so I'm using its Multi-Channel analog inputs...I just got some new Ultralink RCA interconnects for that purpose, and for use on my Panny S77 DVD-A player,...
