Panasonic's HDC-HS300 HD camcorder reviewed thoroughly enjoyed...And I think Apple should work with some Hollywood directors and TV producers on coming out with easy how-to videos for shooting good movies like they are doing with the Garage Band lessons...It does not matter that much for what I need a bigger sensor for...

The HDC-HS300, our first taste of Panasonic's 2009 range announced at CES, sticks with the tripartite approach, too...I have now bought an HDC-HS300 and have to say, I am very pleased with it...The auto focus is very good as well...

Friday was the break-in day and while there really wasn't much to shoot, I did manage to get enough video to play with and edit down...Anyway, it's a little early for me to put a 100% stamp of approval on it but I can say it did well in low light, it produced very vivid colors and did an amazing job of shooting stills to the SD card while filming the storm...HamWx Chase Blog: Panasonic...

Size and weight are very good and it would not cause any strain to carry all day...Not much good when out for the day...The image stabilising system however is extremely good, and probably more than compensates for the lack of weight when compared to my previous Sony camera...
