These are both $1300, both record to internal flash and cards, and both get overall excellent reviews at camcorderinfo...Still, I'm a bit partial to Canon, perhaps only because I can't let go of how stellar the HF-S10 was supposed to be...Any thoughts on whether these camcorders (Canon HF-S10 and Panasonic HDC-TM300) are equally Mac friendly...Overall, there is more and...

Given the slightly annoying flap covering the accessory shoe on the HS300, we actually like this aspect of the TM300 better...I am trying to decide between these 2 excellent cameras (HFS10 and TM300...My overall conclusion is that I would prefer the PANASONIC TM300 at the moment (£300 cheaper and within a cats-whisker of quality...

The various features making it foolproof for idiots is good - except for the flash switch - on/off - where is it...Video and photo quality are good according to other reviews - I cannot judge since I only have the device for one month - not long enough to be able to view anything on external devices - my fault...Pre-record is a good feature - for when shooting fast moving subjects this is no doubt...

I'm making a trip in early May and was wondering if I should wait till April for the TM-300K to come out (at least here in the States...The sensor size is also substantially larger, 1/4.1" on the TM-300K vs 1/6" on the HDC-100...
