Maybe someone else has more specific info on the 65 vs...Also, I got the service plan and before it ended, I called in got a replacement bulb so I am good to go when it dies...I am assuming/counting/preparing for a bulb purchase of every three years...

I am a newbie on the HDTV topic and just got a Panasonic PT-52LCX65...I have to confess that i am a little overwhelmed with so many options to go through and I am still waiting for my HD feed that Bell will hopefully install by end of Month...Right now I am enjoying a 480p DVD feed via component cable but I find the colors sometimes a little bit on the green/brown side...

It is not a bad picture at all actually breathtaking at times in HD...Overall my biggest complaints would be the PC input being located on the front of the TV, and the lack of a 2nd HDMI port...I couldn't understand why the other sets were 500 to 600 more and had mediocre pictures, while the picture on this set was as good as I have seen in a rear projection...
