Just wanted some user opinions from my friends on here...I have the PV GS500 and these days am pretty much "poor boying it" with lighting gear...For simple highly directional lighting on one or two people, a hardware store clamp on 10" reflector (parabolic shape) seems to work well, if I need it a tad softer I "feather" the beam (turn the light a bit so the edge...

Lens, Rode Stereo Video Mic, Azden Stereo Mic, Velbon and SunPak tripods with PH368 heads...About 15 hours on the tape mechanism and heads, in just about as new condition (no marks, blemishes, scuffs, or scratches) it has never given me a lick of trouble...I've used it on the Panasonic twice and although modern ones will be a tad sharper, this one did what I needed...
