It seems to be a much more incremental upgrade focused on addding HDMI support...But I promise I'll get more info tomorrow...Just a guess - it's a XR-55 with added HDMI and HDAVI...

HDMI ,COAX ,FIBER ) My equipment is the following...When I channge audio formats to dts ,dts-es tec......the display on the panasonic does not show the format...what's up with that...

I spent many hours studying the manual and spent two solid days trying to get things to work...Funny...I'm usually pretty good at hooking things up electrical! Not this time! Got the TV part working fine but for some reason, I couldn't get the DVD to produce video or sound...and needless to say, I tried other connections that were not as prescribed in the manual...So, anyway, this has not been a good...

The Panasonic SA-XR57 is an audio/video receiver and does not contain a tv tuner inside, so the Terk HD-TVi isn't designed to connect to it...I have an Oppo DVD Player and Dish 942 and am considering the SA-XR57 and the JVC RXD702B...
