You need a good upscaler engine like HD DVD players have and the new Oppo BDP-83 Blu-ray player...the new LED LCD look pretty good but in the end i decided on plasma again...The upscaling is SOOOO GOOD, I dont need to spend 19+ bucks for any blu ray dvds any more :-) I keep on buying second hand SD DVDs for 3-8 bucks a piece from amazon...

i dont think they’ve got the balls to wait until the nxt generation, 4 to 5 years is too long to wait...Wow they looks cool but i dont remember wolwerine have some like them but what ever...I want a safe flash memory I can use in my pocket, on my key ring or behind my ID badge...

This is one of the best 1080p sets i have ever seen and i totally recommend it...For the price, I cannot complain; however, if I had to say, the bad thing about this tv is that the picture isn't adjustable enough...Highly recommend this tv for a low-price, high-picture-quality tv...

Samsung hand's down -- they put out the best Plasma on the market, in my opinion !! But maybe try LCD -- last longer, less energy consumption, and the technology is here to stay unlike Plasma...One day LCD will have as good a picture at the same price point, get one then...It's a great TV for the money and it's currently available for $1,200 at Sears (10% less than that if you buy it with a Sears card...

I had been warned that plasmas give off a lot of heat and they were right...This tv has really good picture and I love the SD slot that it has...After doing some internet searching and going to Panasonic's website, I found out this isn't uncommon for Panasonic plasmas...
