3 picture to fill the screen it's going to get a little fuzzier, so it's a good idea to increase the Sharpness setting at the same time...Some people who "know" will "know" it's there and some of them are critical of it, however, I believe it's quite a good stretch...The "Just" Stretch mode is very good...

I'm about to jump into my first HDTV, and after doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews, I had picked out the Panasonic TH42PX60...While researching the toshiba I have some concerns regarding the quality of the toshiba in general (CNET user reviews indicated screens going blank within hours, bad customer support, and difficulty getting replacements parts...

Which Plasma to buy Panasonic TH-42PX500U or TH - 42PX60U...I have the TH-42PX500U and it is an awesome TV...Panasonic's lower proced models are still very, very good so I would probably opt for the least expensive of the two...
