They have, for the most part, all been very good...The TH-50PF9UK shares the same chassis as the TH-50PH9UK and the TH-50PHD8UK...I?ve read reports of ?hums? or noises associated with units in this line of Panasonics...

If you typically notice this judder and are bothered by it, then a display that accepts 24Hz and can refresh at a multiple thereof is probably a good idea...At least my scaler does strange things...A good deinterlacing scaler should be able to properly deinterlace 1080i60 "film" based material (movies or TV shows, shot on film) into a full 1080p24 for display, depending on the original interlacing...

Panasonic TH-50PF9UK (1080p panel) what do we know about it...the TH-50PHD9UK is 81.6 lbs, the 1080p TH-50PF9UK is 92.6 lbs or 11 lbs heavier...

I spoke to tech support and they said that this AGC-like behavior is built into the monitor and they knew no way of bypassing it...by gary adcock on Sep 13, 2007 at 8:07:52 am...Just recently I noticed that the monitor is doing something similar to AGC although AGC is turned off in the menu...

I spent some measurable time working with DVE to get the HD signals up to snuff on the 9UK...Not 100%, not 90%, but a good hearty 60...Good color and I would say contrast, but too dark when the lights are on...
