The reason these camcorders are cheap is because the video is so bad...Both are between $175 and $200, so it's not too bad, and I don't mind it in used condition...The discs record only 20 minutes on a single sided disc (if you go for longer record time, the video quality gets worse than bad...

With these accessories all you have to buy is a pack of DVD-RW discs...The audio is crisp and the picture clarity is very good...I got it on sale for less than $300...

The impressive long-range zoom capability is good for my money; 32x-on the lens, and 1,000x digital...Other then that, its easy to use and has a good picture...If you don't care what anyone else, who doesn't pay your bills anyway, thinks, and you just want a small digital video cam that works pretty good, you might like this one as well as I do...
