I personally found the G12-75T speakers very bright and they had alot of top end and bass end, but not much mid range...I think it sounds good with a Marshall cab if your not doing any tuning down...I think they sound good with their own Marshall amps but not so great with a 5150...

the dude had big ass mirrors screwed onto his fenders...but never felt an even remotely urge to piss in it...Haha, before I clicked on the pictures, I instantly imagined that you cut out the front grill, made a special place for a really nice strobe tuner and wired it into the circuit with a foot switch somehow...

The thing with new electrical items is that they will confess to their reliablility with a short period of time...Then try the other way around, the second amps sent into the 6505+'s return and play through the other amp...Bad news is you will have to get new power tubes and bias them, good news is that you will probably experience better sound when cranked...refer to peavey manual/customer...

Starting yet another cover band and just getting some ideas on the amp to use...if you're considering the 6505 (formerly the 5150 combo), why not look at the Peavey JSX combo that was released recently...

I suck at chess because you can't blitzkreig...I got a way better heavy sound--although I had to work at it-- hooking up the H&K Warp Factor through the clean channel of an old Carvin Valvemaster Head AND have a way better clean tone to boot--all at a fraction of the price of the Peavey head...Guess that just made me a more worldly consumer in the end...
