The main difference betwen the ARtist and Artist VT is the preamp...The Artist has all transistor preamp, while the VT uses integrated circuits...The Artist VT series shown in the second pdf file does not look like some of the VT Series Artist's that I have pics of, which say "vt series" under the Artist logo...Based on this maze of confusion,...
Probably sound mighty good with a POD XT or X3 Live...It seems a little smaller than the Classic 30 overall but has the mass of a small black hole...If this is like the other hybrid Peavey amps I've come across I would bet it has a pretty good clean tone...
