I am down to two amps now, my tsl with a 4x12 loaded with g12h heritage speakers and a new 6505 combo in the mail...Do any of you have a certain set of tubes you like to use for the combo's...Hopefully I can get some good (to my ears) classic type rock and roll/metal out of this amp...I am not able to get the tone I am searching for yet from my new combo, I still hold out hope...

The amp has apparently taken Guitar World Magazine’s Gold Award For Overall Value, and for a full-featured Class A-A/B guitar amp, the ValveKing 212 is actually fetching a surprisingly affordable street price of right around $600...It did like humbuckers a lot, and sounded good with those...But, it’s certainly a good tube starter amp I think, both the 1 and 2 speaker version...
