Just paid for a Deltablues 30 watt with 15" speaker on Ebay...My Mesa's into Marshall vintage will always be my main rig, but, when I want to sit back and play some slow, swampy, crying blues this DeltaBlues rig is the one I'll turn to...
First of all, the sound quality is great...The guy said he put lock washers on both the nuts so I'd recommend you do the same in case mine is not an isolated incident...
In any case I have always found the stock boost circuit in these amps to be way over the top...The DeltaBlues, like the Classic 30, uses DC for the preamp tubes and AC for the power tubes...I think it would be a good idea to put in a matching set of output tubes, and also try swapping out the preamp tubes one at a time...
Someone contacted me with a DeltaBlues for sale so I decided to give it a try...The DB is a 30 Watt tube amp from the Peavey Classic Series...Although I've never used Tremolo before, I found that it sounds pretty good...I've got the DeltaBlues 210 great little amp for the cash (which I didn't pay much for) I've been thinking about replacing the speakers...
also i see dude is asking a bit too much for it also...but now a part of me's saying this might be too good to pass up...We will remove it as soon as we can...
