Make sure which one you have, there were MAceMace VT and Mace VTX as I recall...First thing I suspect is a bad TL604 switching IC in there somewhere...in the mace you should check and replace any IC's that are getting hot after the power has been on for a couple minutes...
If I can get the Mace for $150.00 or under I will probably buy it...People would be scratching their heads trying to figure out how the hell that old peavey amp sounds so damn good...Some folks may laugh, but some of the great bands from here in the fabulous South swear by PeaveyMace's...The high voltages, power transformer capability, output transformer and chassis...
