My main question is that having read some reviews of all three cameras, I have read a couple that give the image quality on the 430Rs rather poor reviews, indeed less favourable than the 330RS...Has the image quality on the 430RS been improved with firmware upgrades, or should I just rule out the 430RS...

What's bad - I'd like the buttons to be a bit bigger and it's smaller than the optimum size for my hands...On the good front, the controls and menus are easy to understand and the ability to set exposure manually has been useful, as has manual focus for close ups...Everyone in the family can get fantastic results first time......thoroughly recommended...

solid metal casing no audio on video I was in the market for a digtal camer as i was fed up of getting prints developed and then scanned on to the pc...although the video quality is not bad there is no sound! For the price i paid for the camera I expected sound...All in all i would recomend this camera especially as with a new model out or due out look for some good reductions...
