My main motivation for buying the Pentax Optio 60 was that I was getting a lot of pixels at a reasonable price and it was a Pentax...The Optio joined my Finepix S7000 so I had a basis for comparison and my first impression was that the Optio had surprisingly good build quality and produces excellent detailed A4 prints using Kodak Premium glossy paper profiled...

I did not get either the Pentax W 60 nor the Olympus SW, if I need to shoot in inclement weather I still have my old Pentax 90WR or if in a hurricane I will use my daughter's Nikonus V...My son in law actually has some shots taken with the Nikonus V during a very bad storm, the tail end of some hurircane last year...
