I have been looking around and saw the Pentax Optio S40 the other day and loved it...for the price the Optio S40 in my opinion is a steal...I would recommend it though if you want a small camera with great functions...Price was very good for what you get comapred to other cameras...

It seems like I am forever replacing batteries in my S40...If I put fresh batteries in and shut the camera off and come back to it a few days later, the batteries will either be low or totally depleted...I don't know the S40 itself, but likely the problem is with the switch for power...

Whenever I try to format one of these cards in the S40, the camera tries for several seconds, then reports that the card is not formatted...It seems to work fine with one exception...I picked up one of these used on ebay for a pretty modest price, as well as an underwater case at an even better price, for some casual snorkeling pictures...

What are the possibilities open to me with a pentax s40 camera...My current camera, however the pentax optio s40 seems to be a bit limited lol, but i'm stuck with it due to money issues...or, also happily recieved would be advice on where to pick up a good camera for super cheep, thanks...
