One thing you have to say about the DF is it is quiet - my dog just ignores it...Ti should be okay just above tree level and will actually help you in windy situations because you can just dip into the wind and sit there...The roof slides open to reveal a 14" scope, saves my back a lot and only takes a minute to get ready for the night...

I like to have a good quality, durable and strong camera that I can put...SD 400 or Pentax S7 seems perfect on my hand...

I've taken the battery out for 3 days, Put the camera in a sealed bag with a desicant gel pack in case there is moisture in there...From my review of the sample photos and reviews, the photo output of the SD700 is more pleasing to me and appears to perform better in low light...I considered the direct upgrade to the Pentax Optio S7 which would save me some money since the accessories...

The Pentax S7 is a brilliant little camera, its tiny - I couldn't believe how small it was on taking it out of the box...But this doesn't take anything away from the camera as a whole - As most, if not all digital cameras these days, priced in the sub £150 market don't have a view finder - You get what you pay for, and your getting a lot of camera for £140...
