Despite having done the 365 self portrait project, I don't think I'm as good as portraits as I could be...While in earlier years, I sometimes had troubles finding a good shot per month, I now felt that......Four weeks of New Zealand, including a campervan and hospitality from forum members :) I shot most in JPEG, which was good for storage reasons, but I occasionally cursed during processing...

My choice was the Sigma 18-125, which I never regretted...The following shot really should have taught me more than it did at the time...One of the reasons why I wanted the DS were the AA batteries, the other the IR sensitivity...
