I have a problem with Philips Hdd1620 not being detected by Device manager utility...After I connect it , computer finds a HDD14xx hardware , but after I start the Philips Device manager there is no selection in Device Colon, its blank and I need the function Repair to restore the devices firmware...I personally think its rubish because the signal passes through the cabel fine...

So far I’ve yet to find any fault or problems, the Philips HDD1620 is fantastic, gob smacking fast at downloading you’re music, sounds great, not restricted to using just one particular software, just use anything that can synch to portable players...At the time of writing, - I have owned the Philips HDD1620 for less than two weeks...The touch sensitive navigation...
