I have the 5020 and I can say the glare is not objectionable at all...The 5020 has an anti-glare coating that cuts the glare way down, but in a bright room it looks like a faint purple glow...It's in a darkened room that the 5020 really shines...I have a 5020 that is hooked up directly to my analog cable service via the coaxial input and an A-B switch...
