I have one - last Sunday afternoon I got geeky & created a spreadsheet with all the SC-09's MCACC EQ settings & channel levels to compare with the 59TXi's settings...the SC-09 sets all of them exactly 6 dB lower than what the 59TXi did...Since the SC-09's test tones all seem louder to me, especially the subs, which is noticeably louder, I think Pioneer...

I mean it is a very nice piece, but for $7K, which is $1.5K more than the Denon 5308 and Yamaha Z11, there is no excuse for Pioneer not to use at LEAST the Silicon Optix Reon (which is in the Onkyo 875/876/905/906...Pioneer SC-09TX HTM Review - Audioholics Home Theater Forums...523 watts x 2 @ 4 ohms & Crosstalk of -106dB are out of this world for a receiver...
